Choosing the right school can be overwhelming. Several factors should be considered when selecting where you are going to spend the next four or five years of your life. A small rural college will be much quieter and have more limited access. The farther away you are from home, the more difficult and more expensive it will be. If you like to go home on weekends and holidays, you may have to choose a school that is within a certain radius of it.
Although many high school kids enter college without knowing what they want to do, others have already narrowed it down. You want to select a school that offers a good curriculum in your major area of study. Also, it is prudent to be active in the extracurricular activities of the school. The college should offer clubs and organizations that you fit your interests.
